I'm a 25 year old graphic design major with a love for all things fandom. I tend to reblog and post things randomly about a mulitude of fandoms. It would take too much time to list them all (however if you ask, I can try). Just to warn you - I reblog alot and I also blog all kinds of things, so this is not a one-topic blog.

I do not automatically follow someone back. I’m not here to build up a number. I want to have friendships. Ergo, I want to know I have something in common with you. If Its pretty obvious, I usually follow back. If its not, I’m not going to. Leave me a message in my ask, or reply to one of my posts. Let me know you exist and actually want to be my friend (and not sell me an Apple Computer).

I don’t mean to offend anyone who thinks its common courtesy to follow someone if they follow me. I don’t expect to be automatically followed (although it would be nice) when I follow someone either.

Also, leaving a message or reply also helps me know you actually followed me. Tumblr is not always kind enough to inform me.

You act like we don’t need it. 

I remember my middle school ended at 4:05 or something. It was just how the county structured dismissal so school buses could do routes. I didn’t think much of it.

Guys, we NEED education reform. And, though some folks (*cough Waiting for Superman cough*) try to make charter schools seem like the only answer, the vast majority of children will still be educated in public schools. Don’t get me started on how many charter schools are unsuccessful and vouchers are not the answer! If the school day needs to be lengthened to help with educational success, fucking deal with it. Besides, you may find some college classes begin after 4:00 and many work days sure as shit end after 4:00.

I’m the child of a public school teacher. Education is kind of My Signature Issue.

Something has to be done, and what we are doing right now isn’t doing the job.  So if we need longer days, sure.  I’d rather go with longer school years then longer days.  Maybe longer classes.

And You can go to the best school in the area, and still be going to an ineffective school
